We are Chris and Donatella (Ella) a Vancouver based, internationally published photography couple with over 10 years of experience capturing memories!

Chris is from Australia, Ella from Canada. We met on Facebook 7 years ago and, since then, we have been inseparable - it was love at first Facetime!

We’re absolutely head-over-heels for people and weddings! At Odd Socks, we're all about celebrating everyone – the more unique, the better! Seriously, BRING ON YOUR AWESOME!

MEET CHRIS

Hi there! I'm Chris, your new bestie! I love fruitloops, flowers, filter-coffee and Frank Sinatra. I got my love for photography from growing up surrounded by nature in The Blue Mountains (near Sydney). I'm obsessed with colour and whimsy - I also create conceptual art (how I got started) and work as an editor for other photographers! During the week you may find me sipping coffee at a local cafe, creating self portraits or hand-lettering.

MEET ELLA

Hello, I'm Donatella (Ella for short... please)! Your jewish-italian southern belle! I love life's finer things, flowy dresses, good lyrics and tunes, a bold red lip , a hearty passover dinner and a good ol' cup of java (or matcha). My love for photography started in my room making stop motion short films with my dolls and toys. Since, I have grown to love capturing people's uniqueness and essence - although I am also obssesed with nature photography (porque no los dos?). During the week you'll find me channeling my nonna energy in the kitchen making homemade pasta, singing my heart out by the piano, or unapologetically celebrating my jewish traditions.
